Ruby Fox-Milligan (played by Beth Cordingly) could tear the Dingle family apart due to her "obsession" with her husband Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) in upcoming scenes. Ruby surprised ITV viewers when she rocked up in the village earlier this year as Caleb's mysterious wife.
Caleb had been having a steamy affair with Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) for months and Ruby was livid when she found out. He'd also had flings with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) since his Emmerdale debut in 2022.
Ruby has already fallen out with many villagers, including Tracy who was horrified when her affair was announced at Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor Draper) and Tom King's (James Chase) Valentine's Day wedding. Ruby declared their adultery during the wedding reception which left everyone dumbfounded and almost ruined Belle and Tom's big day.
Caleb and Ruby have been feuding ever since, and she is clearly trying to tear him away from the rest of the Dingles to keep him close. Ruby's only ally appears to be her and Caleb's son Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope), but will he turn against his mother when he realises just how cruel and calculating she is?
Could she end up ripping the Dingles apart as part of her plan to keep Caleb to herself? Beth, the actress who plays Ruby recently opened up to Express.co.uk about her character's "obsession" with Caleb as the pair first got together when they were teenagers.
Beth explained: "Kim Tates says to her, 'You don't just love Caleb, you're obsessed with him.'
"She's giving up everything for him in her," Beth added. "In her eyes, she turned her back on her family for him.
"Since she was sort of 16/17, he and Nicky have been her whole world, and she doesn't appear to have any friends."
The 47-year-old actress, who used to star in The Bill, said the only way she can justify Ruby's behaviour is by saying she's "terrified of losing" Caleb so she "sees the Dingles as a threat".

Beth added: "So instead of being clever about it and the friending them, she takes to insulting them and kicking out against them which is obviously not gonna help... Especially with the Dingles."
She admitted Ruby has always had a "very childish way of approaching" hurdles in her life due to her upbringing.
Beth explained: "Ruby didn't learn that sophistication and she's kind of stuck in that teenage thinking of having a family who turned their back on her and she's kind of stuck, I think. And she's never learned."
