Jane Moore was "missing in action" from the Loose Women panel on Monday, as the show hosted a special episode for those aged over 60, weeks after it was reported that she was embroiled in a "row" with bosses.
Ruth Langsford, 63, fronted the show, as she was joined by Linda Robson, 65, Denise Welch, also 65 and 61-year-old Kaye Adams. The hour-long episode dubbed "This Is 60" discussed everything from health concerns to feeling invisible as people age.
Jane, 61, was missing from the panel which was picked up on by numerous viewers on social media as one X user tweeted: "What about Jane Moore, she's 61."
Another queried: "Where's Jane Moore?"
It comes after reports suggested Jane and fellow co-star Janet Street-Porter had been asked to sign contracts saying they were permanent ITV employees rather than freelance journalists.
In a new interview with Woman's Own magazine Jane has addressed her absence and said it's been down to her busy schedule. The presenter has not been on the panel since December.
According to Yahoo UK, she told the aforementioned publication she had no plans to leave the programme.
"No, no, I'll definitely stay there. I've had a couple of months off because I've got so much other work on and I've just been on tour with Sharon Osbourne. I've had a holiday and I'll be back to Loose Women on 1 March," Jane confirmed.
