The 1% Club returned to ITV on Saturday evening, but viewers wanting to play along were left fuming as they claimed the show's app was not working correctly.
The game show, hosted by Lee Mack, is based on questions asked to 1,000 people, with the number of people getting it right determining how difficult each question is supposed to be - ranging from 90% to 1%.
For the contestant who makes it to the final question, also known as the 1% question, a prize of £100,000 is up for grabs.
However, fans hoping to get in on the action and answer the questions for fun via The 1% Club app were left disappointed.
ITV viewers flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, complaining that the official app for the programme was not working correctly.
Jamie asked: "What’s the issue with the @itv #The1percentclub app tonight? Saying answers are wrong yet they match the correct answer. Plus rather than starting at 10%, app is starting at 100%."
Paul penned: "My app doesn’t seem to be working on either my iPhone or iPad #The1PercentClub."
Steven wrote: "#The1percentclub The app isn’t working so my O/H isn’t happy that she can’t play along @LeeMack."

Another fan and app user fumed: "What the hell is going on with #the1percentclub app tonight?"A fifth viewer noted: "I’ve had to delete the app and reinstall it #The1PercentClub."
Meanwhile, Jen quipped: "#The1PercentClub app is not working! How can I pretend to be right clever to my family now?"
ITV has been contacted by Express.co.uk for comment on the issue.
Hosted by Lee Mack since its launch in 2022, The 1% Club is styled as an IQ test, with the questions based on ‘logic and common sense’ rather than general knowledge.
A total of 100 contestants in the studio all compete by answering 15 logic-inspired questions right in hopes of winning a £100,000 cash prize, but the questions get increasingly harder.
The third season returned on Saturday, February 17, and airs weekly on ITV.
