Limitless Win: Ant & Dec confirm groundbreaking £1m win

viewers issued the same complaint after Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly made a return with the third series of their gameshow Limitless Win. The first instalment saw sisters Tina and Tracy walking away with a life-changing £100,000 as they took on the famed limitless ladder.

However, fans became outraged after shared a sneak peek of next week's show which will see two contestants winning a staggering £1million. As the only show to offer a limitless cash jackpot, the groundbreaking £1million cash prize is the largest amount won in the show's history.

The short clip released by ITV shows the presenters shouting and cheering with delight as Ant said: "You have just cashed out on £1million."

The format has previously seen big wins on the show such as contestants Katherine and Will from series one who walked away with £500,000.

Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share their frustrations over the spoiler, with one claiming the comedy duo had "ruined" the show.

"I do find it really weird when gameshows release info about 'biggest winner!' in advance. Erm, you've just ruined the thrill of it being the biggest winner by telling me?" one fan fumed.

Another agreed: "Well that was a hell of a spoiler on the next time bit. Knowing ITV they'll drag it out to last episode of series to see the ones win a million."

A third complained: "Well that was a massive unnecessary spoiler at the start of #LimitlessWin when they announced someone cashes out for a million."

"Massive spoilers are just killing #LimitlessWin. It’s moronic, no one wants it. Stop it ITV and keep the mystery," a fourth raged.

While another went on: "Very sad #LimitlessWin had to spoil the next episode though it's not the first time a show desperate for ratings has done this, is it #WWTBAM? Annoyingly, it is a week until the next episode, how will I contain my excitement until then(!)

"Oh cheers for that MASSIVE SPOILER - It's not like I tune in to see how far they reach or how much they are going to win or anything," a sixth echoed.

Other fans were thrilled to see Ant and Dec return to screens as one tweeted: "Maybe it's the avid quiz show fan in me but this is perhaps the best show Ant & Dec do. #LimitlessWin." (sic)

Speaking ahead of the new series, Ant and Dec explained they had more people climbing the money ladder "than ever".

When asked if they were close to bankrupting ITV, Ant McPartlin replied: "In a word... yes."

He continued: "We've had more people climb up the ladder than ever before and this series sees the biggest win in the show's history. Can I say that?"

Speaking to MailOnine, Dec joked: "I think you just did. There were a lot of accountants around the studio looking even greyer than normal."

Ant and Dec's Limitless Win returns on 8.30pm next Saturday on ITV.
