Bill Murray kicked off his US tour this past weekend in Chicago and performed covers of classic hits by Bob Dylan, The Kinks and more.

The iconic actor’s tour sees him being backed by the blues band Blood Brothers featuring Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia. The group kicked off the run of dates on Friday (January 3)  at Chicago s Thalia Hall.

Murray treated attendees to a rendition of Dylan’s 1965 track ‘Like A Rolling Stone’ and The Kinks’ ‘Tired Of Waiting’. Elsewhere in the night, he also performed a cover of Wilson Pikett s ‘Midnight Hour’ and Paul Butterfield Blues Band s ‘Born in Chicago’ while sporting a Chicago Blackhawks jersey.

The group are set to take over San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall for a two-night run on January 29 and 30. From there, they will make their way across North America with stops in Atlanta, Port Chester, New York City, Austin, West Des Moines and Saint Louis before wrapping up the run of dates at The Louisville Palace in Louisville, Kentucky on October 4.
