SZA has teased her upcoming album ˜Lana at her headlining BST Hyde Park set with a preview of a forthcoming single, ahead of her Glastonbury 2024 set.
Last night (June 29), SZA asked the crowd: New album, you ready? before performing a snippet of an unreleased song. Soon after, her social media accounts shared a teaser clip of the song with its title ˜Storytime .
I know you told stories about me. most of them awful . All of them true . Here s some for u , she wrote, quoting lyrics from the song.
Last February, SZA shared a new single titled ˜Saturn , which is also expected to appear on ˜Lana . Earlier that month, she previewed an unreleased song, currently dubbed ˜DTM , at an Apple Live event in Brooklyn, New York.
The upcoming album was first announced by SZA last September, where she revealed that what was originally planned as a deluxe edition of ˜SOS has become a whole ˜nother album that will feature 7-10 songs . In March, she issued an update about ‘Lana’ following unauthorised leaks of songs intended for the release. “ ˜Lana deserves more time and music no one s ever heard before, she wrote. Seems fair. Her BST Hyde Park set featured fan favourites like ˜Love Galore , ˜All the Stars , ˜Drew Barrymore , ˜Kiss Me More , ˜Kill Bill , and ˜Supermodel “ all part of her newly-configured set that she s expected to bring to Glastonbury 2024 this weekend.
