Diablo 4 Player Does So Much Damage The Game Just Gave Up

One Diablo 4 content creator has done the maximum amount of damage possible in Blizzard's ARPG, dealing 333 undecillion damage as a Whirlwind Barbarian, after which the game gives up and simply starts displaying an infinity symbol.

The honor of obtaining such an achievement goes to Rob2628, who has a long history of pushing Diablo 4 to its limits. This particular feat of strength happened on Diablo 4's current test server, where Blizzard is testing out the game's numerous patch 2.0 changes that will launch alongside its upcoming Vessel of Hatred expansion.

Funnily enough, part of the 2.0 update is tailored around reducing player levels and scaling down many of the numbers in the game to make them more readable. As Rob2628 has shown, that doesn't look to be going exactly to plan, though they are quick to point out that the absurdly high damage numbers they achieved seem to be thanks to a bug--one that will almost certainly be fixed prior to the 2.0 update's official release.
