While had the backstage support of girlfriend at the 36th Annual Palm Springs International Film Society Film Awards, it appears that he’s not ready to discuss their relationship publicly.
Chalamet, 29, attended the Friday, January 3, festival in support of his movie A Complete Unknown and walked the red carpet solo. Jenner, 27, appeared to join her man inside as she was spotted in social media photos cozying up to Chalamet at the venue.
After the ceremony, Chalamet was asked about Jenner’s attendance.
“You have a lot of supporters in here. I know you brought your partner-in-crime, Kylie, here too. What’s it like to have her supporting you on a night like this?” an Entertainment Tonight reporter asked.
Chalamet, however, played it cool and declined to publicly address his romance specifically.
“It’s a great feeling to be in a room with so much love and so many great peers and people that are fantastic,” Chalamet said. “I like seeing the new way and the new generation here and I also like seeing everyone that’s been holding it down for decades-plus and probably people we haven’t even met yet.”
One day earlier, The Hollywood Reporter uploaded an X video of the 2025 Golden Globes seating chart. In the clip, eagle-eyed fans noticed there is a saved seat for Jenner beside Chalamet. (The actor is up for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama at the Sunday, January 5, awards show.)
Chalamet and Jenner, of course, made their official awards show debut as a couple at last year’s Globes in January 2024. While Jenner didn’t walk the red carpet with Chalamet, they were spotted packing on the PDA inside the Beverly Hilton.
The twosome were initially linked in April 2023, making their first public appearance together at’s concert the following September. That same month, Chalamet and Jenner jointly attended an NYFW dinner with Haider Ackermann, as well as the 2023 US Open.
By January 2024, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Chalamet and Jenner were “madly in love.”
“Everything is going great between them. They both have really busy schedules but make as much time for each other as possible,” a second insider told Us at the time. “Timothée is always making Kylie smile. They have a very special connection.”
Still, both the Kardashians star and Chalamet have declined to publicly discuss their romance at length.
“Kylie and Timothée hang out with each other frequently and communicate on a regular basis,” a third source told Us in July 2024. “They’ve gone on a number of dates recently, but they always do their best to try and stay under the radar as much as possible.”
