and have finally settled their divorce, and , Pitt’s girlfriend, hopes Pitt can move forward.
De Ramon, 32, wanted her boyfriend to come to an agreement with Jolie as the legal battle around their divorce dragged on for eight years.
“Ines [wants] Brad to find peace, forgive and move on,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively in May. “From her perspective, it doesn’t make sense for him to hold on to all the animosity.”
The source added that de Ramon hoped her calm nature would help Pitt, 61, “patch things up with Angelina.”
“Being with her has brought new meaning to his life. Brad can’t rave enough about how madly in love he is,” the source added. “They complement each other.”
Jolie, 49, first filed for divorce in 2016, setting off a lengthy legal battle over ownership of their $164 million French winery, Ch teau Miraval, and the custody of their children — Maddox, 23, Pax 21, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, Knox, 16 and Vivienne, 16. They settled their divorce on December 30 but have been legally single since 2019.
“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family,” Jolie’s lawyer told Us in a statement. “This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”
A rep for Pitt declined to confirm or comment.
Pitt and de Ramon have been romantically linked since November 2022, two months after she split from her ex-husband, Vampire Diaries alum .
Another source confirmed to Us in July 2023 that de Ramon was not deterred by Pitt’s messy divorce drama.
“If anything, it’s only made their connection stronger in a lot of ways because they’re very open and honest when it comes to communication about their lives, whether it be the good or the bad,” the source explained.
A third source confirmed to Us in September 2024 that Pitt and de Ramon are “super in love,” adding that things are serious between the two and Pitt is committed to the couple’s future together.
“Brad loves introducing Ines to his friends because she’s such a joy to be around,” the insider adds. “She brings out the best in Brad.”
