On Wednesday, January 1, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, launched her very own Instagram account under the username @meghan to connect with fans around the world and share updates on her latest projects. Her debut post was filmed by her husband, , near the pair’s home in Montecito, California.
Meghan’s return to Instagram comes nearly five years after the final post on her and Harry’s joint page, @sussexroyal, was shared. “Thank you to this community — for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world. Harry & Meghan,” the couple wrote in March 2020.
In the post’s caption, the duo added: “While you may not see us here, the work continues. … We look forward to reconnecting with you soon. You’ve been great! Until then, please take good care of yourselves, and of one another.”
