Update: Jordan Brand's latest Lunar New Year collection is quickly approaching and as we await its official announcement, we now have a better idea of what to expect from its Air Jordan 5 "Year of the Snake" colorway. Previewed earlier this month, its iridescent detailing, including across the shoe box, has been highlighted. Release is expected to take place within the next two months via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $200 USD.

Original Story: 2025 is just around the corner and so is Jordan Brand's annual celebration of Lunar New Year. While an early look at a "Year of the Snake" take on the Air Jordan 11 Low popped up back in September, we now have previews of thematic renditions of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG and Jordan Stadium 90 that surfaced this week.
The Air Jordan 5 is the latest sneaker to join the roster as it also dons a "Year of the Snake" colorway. Similar to the aforementioned pairs, it rocks an off-white upper that is joined by a black snakeskin hangtag. While our first look is limited to one angle of the kicks, it notably sports an iridescent detail at the midsole while sporting a semi-translucent outsole.
At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has yet to announce its plans for its Lunar New Year collection that includes this Air Jordan 5 "Year of the Snake" colorway.
