While visited with several pediatric patients at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, she took the time to appreciate all the kids’ allegiances to her boyfriend, , and his NFL team.
During her Thursday, December 12, visit, Swift, 35, met with several young fans receiving treatment in the hospital ward, where she posed for photos and signed copies of her Eras Tour Book. During one meet-and-greet, one of the patient’s parents showed off a Kansas City Chiefs blanket.
The red-and-gold blanket featured different Chiefs athlete’s names, including quarterback . Instead of one square for tight end Travis Kelce, it read, “Go Taylor’s Boyfriend.”
Kelce, 35, did not accompany Swift to the hospital for the impromptu visit, Us Weekly can confirm.
Swift — who has been dating the three-time Super Bowl champ for over a year — was seen laughing when she noticed Kelce’s alternative moniker. She and the young fan later held up the blanket while posing for a photo.

During a visit with a different patient, Swift asked whether the tight end was the little girl’s favorite Chiefs athlete.
“Yes, and Patrick,” the fan mentioned, before Swift replied that it was a “good answer.”
Swift also proclaimed that it was an “absolute yes” that she liked Kelce.
Many of the Children’s Mercy patients’ parents are also Swifties and emphatically shared highlights from Thursday across social media.
“This morning, day #6 of Baylee in the hospital we had the coolest, most unexpected surprise ever (with like 2 minutes warning),” one mom wrote via Facebook. “TAYLOR SWIFT came to visit inpatient children today and Baylee was chosen since she requests Taylor songs during her uncomfortable procedures!”
She added, “Y’all she is amazing! On top of her sheer beauty, she was just as kind and personable and down to earth. She gave Baylee a signed copy of her Eras Tour book and accepted a gift from Baylee (a diamond art picture) as well. We have fangirled all morning! I even cried because it’s wonderful to see my girl smile so much knowing the pain she’s been in.”
Another parent thanked Swift via Facebook for “bringing some joy” to her son, writing, “Great way to bring a smile and make a memory.”
Swift recently wrapped her two-year Eras Tour earlier this month. Us previously confirmed that she gave her touring crew nearly $197 million in bonuses over the past two years. Recipients included the truck drivers, caterers, instrument techs, merch team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, band, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics, riggers, hair, makeup, wardrobe, physical therapists and video team.
