This week MSCHF is prepping a big drop, reprising one of its beloved boots and a new apparel line that offers an unconventional take on a rather overlooked material. The 2x4 Boot and the Moving Blanket collection are the latest designs from the headline-making creative collective, honing in on industrial design aesthetics and elevating them to the next level.
At the start of the week, MSCHF first teased a Black 2x4 boot with a construction-themed campaign starring Brazillian rapper Thiago Veigh. The bold boots, which also come in a classic Camel palette and a duo-tone Duck colorway, are heavily reminiscent of boots typically worn by builders with an added dose of subversion. In true MSCHF fashion, the ultra-lugged outsoles extend over the toe box and through the tongue.

The brand-new Moving Blanket collection recontextualizes another industrial motif, utilizing a heathered felt fabric typically reserved for protecting fragile and heavy cargo while in transit. Printed across the fabric is a new baby blue wordmark repeating diagonally to enhance the industrial vibe of the line. The Moving Blanket collection provides a full spectrum of garments ranging from casual styles to more elegant interpretations including a blazer, a long coat, trousers, a T-shirt, and a sweatshirt with a wavy waistband.
See the gallery above for a detailed look at the new collection. The 2x4 Boots and the Moving Blanket collection are set for release on Wednesday, December 4 at 2 PM EST via MSCHF's web store.
