For Cut Once Studio’s inaugural Artist Edition series, the conceptual fabrication shop tapped Jahlil Nzinga, Louis De Guzman, Matt Gondek and Victor Solomon for their latest collection of limited-edition mirrors. In tune with the vision of founder Joshua Vides, the series celebrates the spirit of creativity and craftsmanship through collaborations with artists from around the globe.
Each piece in the collection is brought to life through a custom finish and process, as the four artists put their signature spin on reflective creations. Solomon spotlights the art of sport with his signature basketball motifs, while Gondek’s glow in the dark Oscar the Grouch conjures nostalgia and play. Elsewhere, De Guzman’s etched pegasus reflects an ethereal amethyst glare, and Nzinga’s bold one-liner figures adorn the surrounding glass and frame.
At the intersection of art and design, the collection invites a gaze while reflecting a new one back, transforming everyday objects into thoughtful sculptural works.
Each mirror is limited to an edition of 50 and will be available for purchase on Cut Once Studio's website starting November 22, 2024.
