Last month, Amsterdam was taken over by thousands of clubgoers for the iconic Amsterdam Dance Event. Here, Don Julio joined forces with renowned techno DJ Charlotte de Witte to bring a unique experience to clubland.
Delivering 72 hours of high-energy techno sets with de Witte’s KNTXT Turbo Club, the three-day event featured an iconic line-up headlined by the likes of Acid Asian, Marion Di Napoli, Chris Liebing, Enrico Sangiuliano, and the techno titan herself.
However, raving wasn't the only thing on the menu. Offering a fusion of tacos, tequila and techno, the pair curated the “Charlotada” -- a laid-back experience within the venue where partygoers could go to relax and refuel between sets.
As well as the energetic sets that played well into the night, the now sold-out collaborative “Charlotada” merch, de Witte’s unique pineapple twist on the classic Paloma, and delectable tacos were provided exclusively at the Mexican-inspired bar. To spice up the tacos and complement the signature cocktail, an exclusive Don Julio-infused pineapple hot sauce -- Piña Fuego was also available for a limited time.
