is celebrating his milestone 50th birthday with great fanfare!
DiCaprio rang in his big day with a party hosted at and ’s Los Angeles pad on Saturday, November 9. Ahead of the blowout bash, DiCaprio and his immediate family and friends enjoyed a private dinner.
During the party, he was joined by a slew of famous faces, including and Many of the guests were spotted arriving dressed to impress in formalwear. Hilton, 43, rocked a sparkly silver dress while Tyga, 34, went with all-black.
DiCaprio’s actual birthday is on Monday, November 11, and he is likely to celebrate with girlfriend by his side.
“[They] have a lot of respect for each other,” a source exclusively said in the latest issue of Us Weekly. “They both travel a lot for work and are very supportive of each other’s careers.”
DiCaprio and Ceretti, 26, have been together since 2023 but rarely discuss their connection.
The Oscar winner first rose to fame in the 1990s thanks to roles in the likes of Growing Pains and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, the latter of which earned him his first Academy Award nomination. DiCaprio went on to star in Titanic, Romeo and Juliet, The Aviator, Catch Me If You Can and more but didn’t win his first Oscar trophy until 2016 for The Revenant.
“I am so grateful to the Academy for their recognition of this film. Making The Revenant was one of the most rewarding and collaborative experiences of my life,” DiCaprio said in his acceptance speech. “None of this would have been possible without [director] Alejandro [González Iñárritu]’s talent, vision and determination. Our dedicated crew also deserves to share in this moment.”
He added, “Together, they have created a truly unique cinematic experience. Congratulations to all of my fellow nominees this season. Thank you to the Academy.”
DiCaprio has also worked as an environmental activist.
“After Titanic, I decided to explore that interest by getting more involved in environmental issues,” he told Wired in a 2015 profile. “I was lucky and got to have a meeting with in the White House. He pulled out a chalkboard and drew planet Earth and drew our atmosphere around it. And he says, ‘If you want to get involved in environmental issues, this is something not a lot of people are talking about. … but climate change is the single greatest threat to humanity that we’ve ever had.’ That put me on this path.”
DiCaprio added, “We did Earth Day in 1999. I started a foundation. I started speaking out about the issue. And then, of course, Gore’s film came out, and I think that affected everyone in a profound way.”
