Barstool Sports founder is not mincing words when it comes to his distaste for .
“My Dawg of the week is that f—ing miserable piece of s— scumbag Zach Bryan,” Portnoy, 47, wrote via X on Saturday, November 9, sharing footage from Barstool’s College Football broadcast.
He repeated the comments during the taping.
“If you have his music on his phone, please f—ing delete it,” Portnoy said. “The guy is a piece of s— and you should have never have anything to do with it. He’s the worst.”
Bryan, 28, recently broke up with Portnoy’s Barstool staffer , who claimed that she was blindsided by his decision to end their relationship.
Earlier this week, LaPaglia, 25, went on her and Portnoy’s “BFFs” podcast to chart the course of her relationship with the country star. The influencer claimed that she turned down a $12 million check from Bryan in exchange for signing a non-disclosure agreement.
“The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude,” LaPaglia claimed on the Thursday, November 7, podcast episode. “I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him still. My brain’s rewired. I’m scared to make him mad.”
She added, “I kept showing up when I shouldn’t have, and I kept loving and giving when I shouldn’t have. That’s a me problem. If you’re not getting the love that you’re giving you have to walk away and I genuinely think that this is such a blessing because who f—ing knows how long I would have stayed and how long I would have dealt with this s—.”
Portnoy and fellow “BFFs” podcaster have been firmly on “Team Bri” since the breakup. They even wrote a “Smallest Man” diss track in Bryan’s honor, which Portnoy sang on Saturday.
“How lucky is Bri to be free of ZB?” he sang during the college football broadcast. “And all his STDs.”
Portnoy later added, “Download it! He sucks.”
Bryan has not publicly addressed any of LaPaglia or Portnoy’s accusations but previously claimed the split was “beneficial” for both parties.
“Brianna and me have broken up with each other and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that, I’ll always thank her,” Bryan wrote in an Instagram Story statement in October. “I’ve had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be.”
