As 2025 marks 100 years of business for the Italian luxury label, WWD reported that Fendi will host a coed runway presentation in Milan this February to celebrate the milestone. Granddaughter of the Fendi founder, Silvia Venturini Fendi is said to be the lead designer behind the forthcoming line.
According to WWD, the new Fendi CEO Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou informed the brand's teams of the confirmed show this past week. Heir Silvia Venturini Fendi, who holds the title of artistic director of accessories and menswear collections remains a constant at the brand, lasting through the very recent exit of CEO Serge Brunschwi and artistic director of haute couture, ready-to-wear and fur collections Kim Jones this year.
As Fendi reaches a century, the LVMH-owned label seems to be turning inward, refining its codes and refocusing on heritage. In fact, the show will coincide with the reopening of Spazio Fendi on Via Solari in Milan, where the brand's runway shows historically took place.
The forthcoming Milan Fashion Week will occur from February 25 to March 3. Stay tuned to Hypebeast for updates on the presentation and to discover the season's latest collections as they arrive.
