Iconic Japanese label BEAMS PLUS has announced its inaugural stand-alone shop in the United States with the forthcoming opening of the BEAMS PLUS Limited Store in Los Angeles. The announcement is a full-circle moment for the brand, rooted in its refined Japanese take on American traditional style. The news also marks a historic milestone in the rich aesthetic dialogue between Japanese and American fashion.
The store at 620 Imperial Street will be open from November 14 to December 24, but it is just the start of bigger plans for the label's expansion into the North American market. BEAMS PLUS, which is also celebrating its 25th anniversary, already has more than 170 stores in Asia and plans to roll out more American activations in 2025.
For decades, BEAMS has held a unique position in the menswear market, offering premium-quality essentials based on vintage styles infused with contemporary Japanese minimalism. The brand has also maintained a broad base of supporters with its stylistic versatility and comparably accessible price point.
The brand's FW24 range has been accompanied by an impressive roster of collaborative capsules with Western brands like Palace, Reebok, Engineered Garments and J. Crew.
