Dream Golf, the hospitality portfolio which includes world-renowned golf destinations Bandon Dunes and Sand Valley, has revealed its next move of expansion. Washington County, a district located in Florida's panhandle about 30 miles from the Panama City airport, will host the Kaiser family's first course in the Sunshine State. The project is called Old Shores and will be executed by respected golf course architect Tom Doak who designed another one of Florida's great modern courses in Streamsong Blue.
As mentioned, Old Shores joins other Keiser gems which include not only Bandon Dunes and Sand Valley Resort, but also two in-development destinations Rodeo Dunes and Wild Spring Dunes.. Developer Michael Keiser sung the praises of the site at Old Shores, a rugged landscape which will be a mother watering prospect to Tom Doak.
“This land just makes you want to get to the next bend or over the next hill,” said Keiser. “There is so much variety – it’s hard to believe you could experience so many environments in one place. Every time I visit, I discover a side I had never seen before. This is an amazing and unexpected site.” A timetable has yet be announced for Old Shores' construction.
