Nike has revealed the latest colorway of its Air Max 1 Golf shoe, a silhouette which was overhauled ahead of the 2023 season to closer match the OG '86 version. But while most of the colorways we tend to see this time of year opt for darker, fall-inspired tones, the AM1 G "Chlorophyll" seeks to skip winter and head right into spring. If only it were that easy.
The verdant "Chlorophyll" green is applied in a tried-and-true manner which brings to mind past iterations such as "Sport Red" and "True Red." The titular hue graces the Swooshes, full length mudguards, eyelets, heel logos, tongue logos, toe guards and insoles – meanwhile grey overlays, white midsoles and mesh toe boxes account for visual contrast. Material wise we're looking at primarily smooth suede, so this may be a pair to hold back for those foul weather days on the golf course. Underfoot, the trademark spikeless golf outsole offers more traction in comparison to the lifestyle version of the sneaker.
Keep an eye out for this one on Nike.com and Nike retailers in 2025 for $150 USD. An exact release date is not yet known.
