Wataru Kato, the founder of Liberty Walk, recently took to social media to announce a collaboration with BAPE. The collaborative capsule includes a range of apparel items, collectibles and several BAPE camo-wrapped show vehicles.
The collection includes BAPE's signature Shark Hoodie, available in black or grey, featuring a Liberty Walk graphic at the back. Additional items include two different graphic tees, each available in black or white and a pair of coach jackets in black or camo. Other standout items include a co-branded shark cap and sneakers.
In addition to clothing and accessories, the two are also offering co-branded 1:64 scale diecast cars in collaboration with MINI GT. The cars include a range of Nissan vehicles, all featuring custom Liberty Walk design and dressed in BAPE camo finishes. Other collectibles offered as part of the collection include stickers and keychains.
Full-scale examples of the diecast models were on display at this year's Wired Music Festival in Japan, with 100 units of the diecast models up for grabs at the event. While the initial offering was only available on-site at the festival, a broader release of the collaborative capsule is expected to take place during the 2025 Tokyo Autosalon. Prices for items in the collection range from ¥1,100 JPY to ¥45,100 JPY (approximately $7 USD to $300 USD).
