As Halloween approaches, Nike is throwing in a new seasonal silhouette for this year's spooky festivities. Nike's Dunk Low Halloween gives the classic kicks a new detail with an embossed skull shaped toe cap and updates the body of the shoe to heighten an all-around spooky feel.
Offering two different colorways for the release, the pairs come in a gooey green and a deep blood red, both accompanied by black toe caps, quarters and tongues. In addition to the skull detail, interest is added through a beveled swoosh that maintains the 3D quality present in the toe caps and outlined with contrast stitching for further emphasis.
Crackled leather uppers give the shoe an aged and battered patina, almost as if the pair were pulled right off a long-dead zombie. Open leather cuts provide vivid color outlines resembling a spectral glow that is particularly visible in the dark red model. A special detail is hidden on the insoles, which are printed with a speckled skull motif in each colorway.
