Drake and NOCTA are dropping a new apparel collection titled "Opal," and this time The Boy is taking inspiration from the great outdoors.
With the theme of bringing the woods to the city and specifically, taking design inspiration from the sport of fly fishing, the new collection was recently previewed earlier this week in New York City. The Opal collection was also debuted by Drake himself on the cover of The Drake Magazine which has been described on their social media as "a quarterly flyfishing magazine for those with an uncommon love and dedication to the sport." For the cover, Drake goes into the lake in the new Opal gear, sporting the orange and brown snakeskin graphic windbreaker, a matching trapper cap and weatherproof khaki technical pants.
In NOCTA's Instagram teaser, the caption describes the upcoming collection sharing, "The Opal Collection is a return to NOCTA’s core DNA- premium outerwear, vests and apparel inspired by sport and culture. Engineered for performance and crafted with intention, each piece is designed for seamless adaptability across diverse environments." The preview showcased a slate of new windbreakers, outdoor-inspired t-shirts and sweaters as well as technical pants for the wild. Stay tuned for the release date.
