Australian heartthrob Jacob Elordi returns to star in a newly launched Bottega Veneta campaign. Following his official brand ambassador announcement made earlier this spring, Elordi appears in a campaign shot by Magnum photographer Alec Sloth.
Highlighting creative director Matthieu Blazy's integral house codes for the brand, this campaign celebrates "Going Places." Shot in Utah and Nevada, Elordi can be seen moving through dramatic natural architecture and the desert's breathtaking surroundings. For Blazy, "Bottega Veneta is in essence pragmatic because it is a leather goods company. Because it specializes in bags, it is about movement, going somewhere; there is fundamentally an idea of craft in motion." Touching on the house's Venice roots, the collection leans into how artistic techniques, ideas and motifs flow with the movement just as the merchants and goods did in the ancient city of Venice.
Continuing to play on Bottega's spirit of travel and exploration, the campaign features key travel products including a new edition of the Andiamo bag in canvas and leather, a weekender travel bag in weathered brown leather, and a belt with snake-inspired buckle. Where Elordi seems to be leaping over the canyons, he is carrying the weekender bag and as he strikes a balletic pose, he does so next to the Andiamo. Take a look at the full campaign above.
