Renault has unveiled the first images of its new 4 E-Tech Electric, set to debut at the Paris Motor Show on October 14. A modern take on the iconic Renault 4, the all-electric model combines contemporary design with nods to its predecessor.
The 4 E-Tech Electric is compact yet practical, measuring 13 feet in length, making it slightly larger than its Renault 5 counterpart. Built on the AmpR Small platform, the vehicle promises best-in-class interior space, agility and comfort, with a retractable fabric roof adding a touch of nostalgia.
Design highlights include a lit grille, featuring round LED headlamps and a backlit Renault emblem, as well as signature three-part tail lights and trapezoidal quarter windows. The car's silhouette is further enhanced by sculpted door sills and a sleek rear spoiler, both paying homage to the original 1961 Renault 4.
Set to launch in 2025, the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric will be produced in Maubeuge, France. Early adopters in select countries can pre-order through the R4 R Pass program, gaining exclusive perks like early access to ordering and priority delivery.
