To mark the return of Turin’s Kappa FuturFestival this weekend, Italian label and headline sponsor Kappa has unveiled a new capsule collection that encapsulates the decade-long legacy of the electronic music event.

Famously taking place Parco Dora, a former car factory, Kappa FuturFestival has become synonymous with the futurism of techno music, continuously hosting a range of renowned DJs whose tracks fit seamlessly with the post-industrial backdrop. Its widely recognized identity becomes the subject of the new capsule, with the label imagining the high-octane landscape in fashion form.

At the forefront of the range, the Kappa launches a selection of tops - ranging from boxy shirts and oversized football jerseys to a crop top and other staple T-shirts. For the stand-out football jersey, a vibrant tie-dye-like pattern, comprised of orange and blue tones, emblazons the front with an oscillating “Futur” graphic and is framed with racer strips on the sleeves. The same color arrangement features alongside the Kappa Omini logo on a crop top as well as a baggy T-shirt.

Referencing the festival’s nighttime scheduling, the brand also delivers several dark-toned pieces overlaid with red artwork of the park’s distinctive columns. As well as the garments, a selection of accessories – including a small waist bag, crossbody bag, keychain lanyard, and bucket hat – are designed to round off the festival uniform with matching patterns. For those looking to make a fashion statement at this year’s event, Kappa also drops a Briko sunglasses collaboration, adapting the visor-style frames with bold red lenses.

The new range features in a launch campaign shot by acclaimed fashion photographer Nima Benati. See how she captures the pieces in a dynamic light by exploring the images in the gallery above.
