RIMOWA is taking its Original Collection to Emerald City for a new offering.
To continue expanding its portfolio, this time around the celebrated luggage brand tosses its signature aluminum suitcases in rich emerald green. Therefore, the collection spans three luggage pieces including the Original Check-In L, Original Trunk Plus and Original Cabin. For a smaller personal offering, the collection features the aluminum Cross-Body Bag, which is complete with an Italian leather interior.
With the stone-inspired collection, the green hue graces its entirety from the aluminum body to the handle. A slight bit of contrast is seen with the black luggage wheels. "You've got to be seen in green," from The Wiz's "Emerald City Sequence." The Cologne-founded brand has had a love affair with the color green lately. This past May, the brand united with NYC's Aimé Leon Dore for a special collaboration that tossed RIMOWA's Chest and Cabin in Aimé's signature dark green hue. The pieces were also complimented with gold-plated hardware, brown leather-made handles and straps and co-branded leather-covered logo badges with gold embossing.
Ranging in price from $1,430 USD to $2,325 USD, RIMOWA's Emerald Green Collection is available now online and in-store at RIMOWA boutiques.
