Round Two Bangkok Continues Expansion with New Pop-Up

Following its successful launch event, which included a visit from Sean Wotherspoon, Round Two Bangkok continues to expand within the city. The brand is now available at a wide range of multi-brand retailers, with the latest being a month-long pop-up installation in collaboration with the Comma And concept space inside of the Central World shopping mall.

This latest space features new regional exclusives and also brings with it the opportunity to collect items from some of Wotherspoon's past collaborations. Notable items include signed examples of the designer's ATMOS x SW BE@RBRICK in the 1000% size, wrapped in corduroy patches and finished with contrasting stitching at the chest. At the time of writing, only six examples remain and are available on a first come first serve basis.

Other standout items include the recently released "CHUNKEE" skate shoe, Wotherspoon's first noncollaborative shoe. Available in both black and blue distressed denim, the shoes feature a vegan denim upper, synthetic inner, footbed with extra cushioning, a padded tongue and collar, as well as aged outsoles and a multi-layer toe cap for added durability.

The pop-up also brings back a fan-favorite accessory from Wotherspoon's GAP collaboration, a corduroy-wrapped teddy bear on a keychain that pairs nicely with the various bags available. An entire host of apparel items are also available, from Bangkok-exclusive pieces to times from the Round Two mainline — including tee shirts, jackets, shorts, pants and more. As a special surprise, The Car Company LA is also featured at the pop-up, with a range of exclusive tee shirts.

"Lately, Round Two has become more popular in Southeast Asia," shared Nithitat 'Popeye' Sawaengsat, the founder of Round Two Bangkok, in a comment to Hypebeast. He added that the pop-up from December of 2023 was a big success and that it highlighted the large fanbase in the region. "We also have the best Vintage market located here and we will continue to grow our culture. Last week we had a Round Two pop-up in China and next week we'll have one in Japan," explained Sawaengsat.

As for fans in Bangkok, prices at the Comma And pop-up range from roughly $10 to just over $1,000 USD, meaning there's a little something for everyone. Those interested in checking it out can visit the concept store, located inside the Central World shopping mall, from the time of this writing until June 12.
