YT Industries carves a new lane in the culture as it taps illustrious footwear label Vans for its latest mountain biking collaboration.

With Vans’ long-standing relationship with BMX, the two entities tap into their mutual legacy in extreme biking. The latest collaboration sees YT Industries rework the archetypal 114 sneaker model. Analyzing and addressing bikers’ needs, the silhouette features its trademark WAFFLECUP™ BMX outsole, POPCUSH™ cushioning, and DURACAP™ underlays designed for maximum support, durability, and protection. For more relaxed downtime wear, the offering is rounded off with the La Costa slides inspired by the brand’s mantra.
Not only known for its performance product offering but YT’s notable campaigns like its classic British gangster-inspired e-bike ad starring Vinnie Jones or its anime episode for the IZZO Trail Bike lends to its wider reverence and takes the brand beyond its core audience.
In a clash of cultures, this drop’s accompanying visuals capture YT Industries rider Erik Fedko alongside skate legend Steve Caballero as they bring together the worlds of mountain biking and skating for a fast-paced edit taking cues from iconic skate videos.
