From the snowy alps to the rugged trails, Goldwin has cemented itself as a premier outfitter for all things technical apparel, but engineered in a way that adheres, and in some instances sets, industry trends while always maintaining the quality of its products as the driving point of its business. To complement its SS24 line, the Japanese label has worked with American athlete Dylan Bowman on a limited capsule of trail-running garments and accessories.
For Bowman, whose won the Ultra-Trail Mt. Fuji twice and finished second at the 2021 Hardrock 100 mile, gear should always be a forethought. "Dylan’s idea of an ideal product was something that would make you forget you were wearing it," wrote a statement by Goldwin, adding, "To make this ideal a reality, the development team looked down to the smallest detail, worked to reduce weight as much as possible, and thoroughly pursued the comfort of wearing."
The Trail Running Collection includes a black vest made with ultra-lightweight materials, a PERTEX waterproof jacket that can be equally worn in hot and humid conditions, as well as stretch running shorts and waterproof pants for those bushy trail runs. "I believe that through this product, many runners will be able to experience the wonders of nature, communicate with their inner selves, and achieve great performance," Bowman said in a statement.
