The Matcha Cookies & Cream Shake is the newest seasonal offering to be added to Shake Shack’s menu. Available for the first time in Hong Kong, the delectable shake will only be only be offered for a limited time starting March 5.
The Matcha Cookies & Cream Shake uses premium matcha powder that has been sourced from Uji, Kyoto’s renowned region for matcha. For this particular item, the type of matcha powder used is of the finest grade, produced by award-winning Kitagawa Hanbee.
Similar to the chain’s other cold shakes, the drink is made freshly in-store with frozen vanilla custard, hand-spun with matcha powder for a velvety texture. It’s then generously topped with whipped cream that’s been infused with sprinkles of golden buttery cookies and matcha powder.
