Moon apologizes to public for strengthened anti-virus restrictions
문대통령 "방역초지 다시 강화, 국민께 송구"
President Moon Jae-in apologized to the nation for having to strengthen anti-virus restrictions following a surge in new COVID-19 cases and deaths.
He reportedly said preparation for the course back to normal was insufficient... with the government unable to curb the rise in critical patients nor secure enough hospital beds.
Moon added the government will do its best to stabilize the situation during the 16 days of toughened measures.
There will also be efforts to swiftly finalize measures to provide financial assistance to the self-employed.
