ITV Emmerdale fans 'work out' Kim Tate's revenge plan on villager - and it's not good

Emmerdale's Kim Tate has been accused of "playing" Dawn Taylor by avid soap watchers.

The iconic character, portrayed by Claire King, has faced a tumultuous period lately. Last year, she discovered her husband Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) was unfaithful, and in true Kim style, she exacted her vengeance.

Will found himself at the mercy of an anonymous blackmailer, who turned out to be none other than Kim herself. A bitter feud ensued between Will and Kim, with Kim resolute in keeping her wealth out of his grasp.

Despite their rocky past, the couple decided to reaffirm their love and planned a vow renewal on Christmas Day. Unbeknownst to Kim, however, Will had been conspiring with her ex-financial advisor Peter (David Michaels), aiming to topple her.

To thicken the plot, it emerged that Peter was also in cahoots with a shadowy figure, later unveiled as Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), who was determined to exact vengeance on Kim, reports Leeds Live.

Christmas Day brought high drama to Home Farm when Joe made an unexpected entrance, shocking both Kim and Will. Joe disclosed the entire scheme to Kim, but the revelations were overshadowed by Will suffering a fatal heart attack.

In the wake of Will's demise, a grief-stricken Kim is left to pick up the pieces, while Will's daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley) suspects Kim played a role in her father's untimely end.

This week saw Dawn take drastic action, drugging Kim in hopes of extracting a confession. Tragically, the plan backfired as Kim had a seizure and was urgently hospitalised.

Kim's decision to keep the truth about her spiking from the authorities has left Emmerdale viewers in utter disbelief, with many suspecting she hasn't forgiven Dawn as she claims. Instead, fans are convinced Kim is biding her time for a calculated revenge.

On an Emmerdale fan page on Facebook, one viewer speculated: "Kim definitely has something up her sleeve."

Another added their thoughts, saying: "Yes she's playing her and will get her well-deserved revenge on Dawn eventually, because nothing works quickly in soaps."

A third chimed in with a warning: "Be careful Dawn, Kim is up to something and it will come out soon."

The plot thickens as some audience members believe Kim is aware of Dawn's recent clandestine kiss and plans to use this information against her husband Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle). One fan confidently asserted: "Kim so knows about Dawn and Joe! Watch her use this to her advantage! Bye Dawn!"
