Alejandro Garnacho 'makes Man Utd exit decision' as PSG transfer talks emerge

Alejandro Garnacho is open to leaving Manchester United after growing frustrated with his reduced role during the early stages of Ruben Amorim's tenure, according to reports. And the 20-year-old winger is said to have been discussed during talks between United and Paris Saint-Germain this month.

Garnacho established himself as a sure starter under Erik ten Hag after the Dutchman oversaw his transition from the academy to a permanent fixture in the first team.

But Amorim hasn't named the exciting talent in any of his last seven starting line-ups, handing him just 109 minutes across that period.

Initial concerns about Garnacho's long-term future at Old Trafford surfaced when he, alongside Marcus Rashford, was excluded from the matchday squad in last month's derby win at Manchester City.

Later reports claimed it was due to the Argentina international blanking Amorim as he attempted to issue instructions before his late cameo in United's 2-1 victory at Viktoria Plzen.

And he has continued in a bit-part role for weeks, with Bruno Fernandes undroppable and Amad consistently among Amorim's top performers.

According to TBR Football, Garnacho has become annoyed about his current situation and has left the door open to a potential move away should an offer arrive.

It's claimed that Atletico Madrid are very interested in bringing Garnacho back to the club after he left to join United's academy in 2020.

And the interest is allegedly mutual in a major boost for the La Liga giants, who are closely monitoring his situation.

The Independent state that PSG have emerged as another potential destination after Garnacho's name was brought up during recent talks with United.

The Red Devils reportedly want to make Nuno Mendes the first signing of the Amorim era to address their problems at left-wing-back.

They are also courting Kolo Muani and have been named alongside Juventus and Tottenham as the frontrunners for the 26-year-old's signature.

Kolo Muani is widely expected to depart PSG this month, having slipped out of Luis Enrique's plans at the Parc des Princes.

United are eyeing an initial loan deal with an option or obligation to make it permanent at the end of the season.

Garnacho exit rumours have been fuelled by fresh reports claiming that United are willing to listen to offers for every member of Amorim's first-team squad.

The M16 giants are walking on thin ice and need to raise funds to ease the pressure imposed by FFP and PSR.
