Eamonn Holmes fans cry 'we miss you' as they demand GB News Isabel Webster return
Eamonn Holmes has given a fresh verdict on his former GB News co-star Isabel Webster being replaced. The 42-year-old breakfast host was axed by the broadcasters in a presenting shake up just before Christmas.
Now, taking her place, is Ellie Costello. But as Eamonn posed with his new colleague in a sweet Instagram post, fans in the comments were gutted.
The former This Morning star introduced his new co-star to his social media, as he posted a snap of them at the news desk together each with a hot drink in hand and smiling brightly.
He wrote: "A New Year, a new day and a new Breakfast line up on @GBNews. It’s now Eamonn and @EllieCostellotv from 6 to 9.30.
"It’s Fresh, bright, different and I hope we have your company on TV, online, on your smartphone, on your Radio and by asking your smart device to play GB News. Please join us and say Hello."

One fan wrote: "Best of luck Ellie. Will miss Isobel though, I wonder why she left?" Another added: "Love you both - but will really miss Isabel."
"It won’t be the same without Isabel loved you both together. Bring her back," a third demanded.
Meanwhile someone else posted: "Nice to see you survived Eamonn, but very short sighted of GB News to let Isabel and Mark leave. Ellie has potential but needs to stop pouting and lighten her application of her makeup if she wants to be taken more seriously. I know she has the qualifications, but I will miss Isabel keeping you in line!"

"I love Ellie but Isabel was the heart of breakfast, and she kept you in check, including no doubt, straightening your tie. All the best," one more shared.
Ellie Costello will now co-host GBN Breakfast five days a week, presenting alongside Eamonn Holmes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and with Stephen Dixon on Thursday and Friday.
Isabel has been radio silent since the news was announced on 18th December, but Eamonn wished her a sweet goodbye, penning on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Goodbye my girl."
