"The new Lost" gears up to return for its eagerly anticipated third season.

UK fans are on the edge of their seats following an 18-month hiatus since they were last treated to the latest saga of From, especially after that harrowing cliffhanger ending.

The long wait is now nearly over for From season three with the show already released in the US, having made its debut on Sunday, September 22 on MGM+. 

Just three months following the American finale, From season three will cast its dark shadow over the UK starting Tuesday, January 14, at 9pm.

This premiere will not just offer a single serving of terror but a double feature with the first two episodes of the third season dropping one after the other on Sky Max and concurrently on the streaming service NOW.

Post-premiere, fans can continue to tune in with weekly episodes on Sky Max and NOW airing in the same time slot. 

And going by the season two finale, audiences will have their work cut out trying to piece together what's going to happen next when season three kicks off.

The previous season's final moments saw Tabitha (portrayed by Catalina Sandino Moreno) seemingly plummet to her demise from the lighthouse, only to shockingly resurface in a real-world hospital bed.

The series has taken a turn that viewers didn't see coming, and because of this unforeseen narrative development, fans are dubbing the show the "new Lost".

This references the iconic series where plane crash survivors find themselves on a mysterious island before reappearing in the "real world" in a head-scratching plot twist. 

In addition to the buzz surrounding the launch of the third season, there's more thrilling news for enthusiasts.

It has already been confirmed that a fourth season of From has been given the green light, although there has been no talk of a potential return date just yet.
