Mohamed Salah says 'it's my last year' in Liverpool interview and shares future ambitions
Mohamed Salah revealed that his main ambition is to win the Premier League with Liverpool in what he described as "my last year in the club".
The Egyptian forward detailed to Sky Sports that at the beginning of each season, his biggest priority has previously been to win the Champions League. But as his contract continues to run down, he is eyeing domestic success with the club at the top of the table.
Having admitted that he is no closer to signing a new deal at Anfield, Salah has the perfect opportunity to sign off a storied spell on Merseyside in style.
He is the league's top goalscorer and leads the assist charts, with supporters worried that Liverpool may not be able to tie their talisman down beyond the current season.

"In my interviews over the last seven or eight years, I always say [I want to win the] Champions League. But this is the first time I'm saying I really want to win the Premier League with Liverpool.
"I have no idea [why priorities have shifted]. It's probably because we didn't celebrate the one we won in the way we wanted and also, coming back here too, it's my last year in the club so you want to do something special for the city.
"That was the thing in my head. We waited for that title for 30 years or so. So, to win it and it was the pandemic at that time, we didn't really have time to celebrate it in the right way. It's not a nice thing to do, so hopefully we can do it this year."

Salah's sole league title win with Liverpool came during Covid-19 lockdown, when players were unable to parade the trophy in the streets alongside fans who had been waiting decades for a maiden Premier League triumph.
But the 32-year-old, who retains strong interest from the Saudi Pro League and is free to talk with foreign clubs regarding a pre-contractual agreement, thinks that such a strong group of players need to add to their trophy cabinet.
"I still believe the team needs a trophy," Salah added. "There is still half of the team left like me, Trent [Alexander-Arnold], Virgil [Van Dijk], Alisson, Robbo [Andy Robertson]. It's necessary for us to win another trophy before we all go."

We've won almost everything, but we've won the Premier League once. Hopefully we can win it twice, which would be great."
Not only is Salah's contract up at the end of the season, but also captain Van Dijk and vice-captain Alexander-Arnold, with the latter attracting firm interest from Real Madrid.
Liverpool's talisman revealed that he remains "far away" from penning a contract extension after helping the Reds to a 5-0 thumping of West Ham.
And Salah's comments to Sky ahead of a highly-anticipated clash with fierce rivals Manchester United won't make for pleasant reading for club chiefs either.
