Hong Kong welcomes first babies of 2025

Hong Kong on Wednesday welcomed its first babies of 2025, with a little boy born at the Prince of Wales Hospital being the first to arrive in the New Year. The baby boy, weighing 3.375 kg, was born at 12:07am. Both the mother and child are said to be doing well. Another baby boy, weighing 3.56 kg, was delivered at Princess Margaret Hospital five minutes later. Meanwhile, two more baby girls were born at Princess Margaret Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital at around 1am and 2am respectively.
