Claudia Winkleman has shared some huge show secrets behind the scenes of BBC's Traitors. The fan favourite show is set to return on January 1, 2025 with the star's iconic fringe at the helm.
It will see 22 strangers move into a castle in the Scottish Highlands to complete a series of challenges and missions together as a team to win a cash prize. However, three traitors will be lurking among the faithfuls, ready to backstab and betray their fellow team mates.
In the darkness of night time the traitors off their competitors one by one as they hope not to be outed at the round table later in the day. One thing that fans of the gripping, drama-fuelled show often wonder is how the producers decide who will take on the role of traitor.
Claudia is lucky enough to have a say in the decision. Speaking to the press, she said: "I'm not a goddess and I don't choose them by myself."
She went on to explain the process of choosing the Traitors, saying: "We talk to all of them in that room and then we go into a room there's 5 of us, 6 of us.

Claudia Winkleman will be presenting The Traitors once more (Image: BBC)"It is very stressful. And then you place it all. Everybody, I mean, I'm just the smallest voice in the room, but you, you decide, having had those chats, who it is going to be.
"And then you place it all. A little bit of that and you'll see how it works out for us."
Speaking about whether or not she believes the correct traitors have been chosen for the upcoming third series, the host said: "I have faith And whether I was correct or wrong, we will find out.

"They're always the right three. It could have been a different three, but it was those three and after you've spoken to them all that felt like the right three."
Claudia has remained tight-lipped about what fans can expect in the new series. She said: "I would love to tell you all about series three, but then I will get fired so I can tell you absolutely nothing. What I will tell you is that things are different."
Winkleman teased at some exciting changes, stating: "There are some really exciting things that have changed, which keeps everyone on the toes and feeds into the central premise of trust. I can't wait for everyone to see."
