KITH and New Manual Present First-Ever Collaboration
KITH's Tokyo line is linking up with Yutaka Fujiwara's denim imprint New Manual on the pair's first-ever clean, collaborative capsule.
Presented in a Masaru Kasamatsu-fronted lookbook, the duo has delivered a denim-dipped two-piece capsule rooted in both craftsmanship and authenticity – as each ot the two items in the release was specifically hand-picked and envisioned by one of the brand's designers. First off, the capsule includes a pair of painter pants inspired directly by a 1970s vintage item worn by KITH Tokyo's director Junya Matano, while the jacket is a modernized reworking of Fujiwara's cowboy jacket from the 1930s.

"When I went to the very first exhibition of New Manual, I was drawn to every word Fujiwara described the product, and now I want all the products there ... From that moment, I wanted to realize my work with such a person in collaboration with Kith someday, but at first I couldn't say it," Matano reflected in an Instagram caption. Peep the KITH for New Manual capsule in the lookbook above and expect it to drop at KITH Tokyo on January 2, 2025 via lottery system.
