Meet LIV Golf's three new signings as fresh blood introduced for 2025 campaign
As 2024 draws to a close, LIV Golf has already welcomed three new players to their ranks during the breakaway league's offseason transfer window. Five players, including Bubba Watson, Kalle Samooja, Branden Grace, and the Vincent brothers, Kieran and Scott, lost their spots in September after being relegated from the LIV league.
Although there are rumours that Watson may be reinstated due to his role as RangeGoats captain, the other four have not been so fortunate. All four attempted to regain their places on the Saudi-funded circuit for the 2025 season by entering the LIV Promotions this month, which offered the winner a spot on the roster in the New Year.
However, Grace and his colleagues all fell short in Saudi Arabia, paving the way for Asian Tour star Max (Chieh-po) Lee to announce himself as one of the league's new signings. The Chinese Taipei national was declared the winner at Riyadh Golf Club on December 14, securing his place in the LIV setup for 2025.

"I really hope Asian Tour players can go to LIV Golf because they can give more power."
The line-up for 2025 has grown richer with the addition of Asian sensation Yubin Jang. The impressive Korean Tour and Asian Tour player has been snapped up by the IronHeads, a decision fuelled by Kevin Na's belief in his potential, as he revealed this month: "He's going to be the next best Korean golfer. That's how much I believe in him. And I told him that, too."

I've been watching him for more than a year. I've been watching a lot of guys."
He also highlighted Jang's milestone transition from the Korean Tour to the global stage, reflecting a rise in Korean golf: "But the coolest thing about it is nobody from the Korean Tour has previously gone straight to the world stage. So, this shows you how much the Korean Tour has elevated and elevated their players. I'm seeing a lot of good players come out of there. Obviously, I know all the guys on the PGA Tour and I'm friends with all the guys."
Martin Kaymer has praised Frederik Kjettrup (Image: Getty)Na then emphasized his recruitment focus: "But in the end, I had one recruit, and I put all my eggs in one basket. And that was him."
The IronHeads' move is part of a growing trend, with Martin Kaymer's Cleeks GC also signing a promising newcomer.
Danish sensation Frederik Kjettrup has been snapped up by captain Kaymer after turning heads on the PGA Tour University and PGA Tour Americas. Although not yet a familiar name, Kjettrup garnered glowing commendations following his recent unveiling.
