Kansas City Chiefs' Justin Watson and Wife Erica's Relationship Timeline

Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver has three Super Bowl rings to his name, but his personal life with wife is just as rewarding.

“Prioritizing family is my top priority. It’s irreplaceable. If my football career ended tomorrow, I’d still have Erica and [our son] Zion, the two most important people on earth to me,” Justin wrote in an essay for All Pro Dad published in September 2024.

Justin and Erica tied the knot in June 2022 and welcomed Zion in April 2023. The couple announced in November 2024 that they are expecting their second baby. Just as Justin carves out time for his family, Erica makes it a point to support her husband’s football career. She regularly shares photos of herself attending Chiefs games.

Erica shared an Instagram photo of the twosome all dolled up for an event.

March 2022

“I Have Found The One Whom my Soul Loves 💕,” Erica captioned an Instagram photo of Justin down on one knee proposing to her.

The engagement news came one month after Justin signed with the Chiefs after previously playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The couple tied the knot on June 4. Later that month, Erica shared snaps of her and Justin riding an ATV on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Justin shared snaps from the duo’s sex reveal celebration for their first baby.

“Annnd … It’s a BOY 🔵 NEVER A DOUBT! 😅😅,” he wrote alongside photos of him and Erica posing in front of a blue smoke bomb.

Justin and Erica welcomed their first baby, son Zion.

“Zion Lee Watson. 04/12/2023💛,” Erica captioned a photo of the new arrival.

Justin commemorated his and Erica’s first wedding anniversary.

“I CANNOT BELIEVE I’VE BEEN MARRIED TO THIS AMAZING WOMAN FOR A YEAR! So thankful for you and a year full of joy ❤️,” he wrote via Instagram.

Erica celebrated the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII win, marking Justin’s third time being an NFL champion. He previously won with the Buccaneers in 2021 and the Chiefs in 2023.

Justin and Erica got dressed up to attend the Chiefs’ Super Bowl ring ceremony in Kansas City, Missouri.

“Celebrating ring #3 with my #1 💍,” Justin wrote via Instagram alongside a picture of him and Erica on the red carpet.
