Virgin River season 6 has landed on Netflix, delivering the much-awaited TV wedding of the year as Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) exchanged vows. Yet amidst the celebrations, tensions run high with a side of drama among their loved ones.

At Mel's hen do, a drunk Brie Sheridan (Zibby Allen) slips away to leave Dan Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth) a revealing voicemail, admitting her lingering thoughts about him despite their split over his drug dealing.

The pair later confront their feelings, succumbing to temptation and cheating on their current partners Mike (Marco Grazzini) and Lark (Elise Gatien).

The season's climax threw viewers for a loop, not just with Mike's unexpected marriage proposal but also his bombshell revelation that he's aware of Brie and Brady's secret tryst.

As fans eagerly await the seventh season of Virgin River to see the fallout, some express exasperation at the ongoing plot, with one disgruntled fan taking to Reddit to vent: "I am literally DONE with this Brie and Brady storyline.

"It's ridiculous and disgusting and I'm so upset that Brie is doing this to Mike. He has done absolutely nothing other than love her.

"Lark gets what she gets. No sympathy for her really but Mike? Nah! He doesn't deserve it."

Brady may have to hunt down Lark in the seventh season after she overheard his declaration of love for Brie and emptied his bank account. But will he manage to reconcile with Brie? Or will she accept Mike's proposal?

One irate viewer complained as they watched the finale: "I can't stand Brie! Cannot! I think Mike's about to propose. And this woman is a cheater and liar. Mike deserves so much better!"

Another fan vented: "Brie is going to say no. She better! She better say no! Say no Brie! You do not deserve Mike! Huh??!?! He knows?!?!?! What?!?!?! And he still wants to marry her? WTF?????".

To which another viewer responded: "She better say no and not p*** me the f*** off! Clearly she is still in love with Brady!!!

"I don't even understand why Mike would propose knowing she slept with Brady, that's crazy...like have some shame Mike!"

Some fans said they hoped for a reunion for the couple in season seven: "And I don't care Mike and Brie are so lacklustre. Brady and Brie have chemistry for days!!!"
