How much GB News stars get paid as Eamonn Holmes co-host is axed in brutal shake-up
GB News announced a huge presenter shake up this week which saw Eamonn Holmes Breakfast co-host Isabel Webster replaced by Ellie Costello. It also saw axed presenter Mark Dolan claim he, "will speak publicly about this in due course."
While Eamonn's salary hasn't been revealed it is believed to be well into seven figures based on previous contracts he held in other roles. However most presenter salaries aren't made public.
However the channel has employed a huge amount of politicians and it is known they were paid they eye watering amounts for their contributions. One such politiical star is former Tory-MP Jacob Rees-Mogg who will now only be hosting his show two days a week rather than four as part of the shake up.
In February this year it was reported he had earned £324,121.44 working as a presenter for the channel. This works out at a whipping £732 per hour. This compares to the £45,000 per year for a senior sports reporter at the channel as listed by jobs and career website Glassdoor.
Rees-Mogg will now see a dip in his income with the reduction of his hours at the channel but he is not the only high earning politician they employ.

Earlier this year it was said he earned £97,900 a month from the channel with is higher than the £91,346 annual salary MPs get.
The figure for his GB news wages was taken from the register of members' financial interests. However, he later took to social media to deny the figure.
Writing on X, he said: "To be clear... the GB News sum paid to me and declared includes VAT, and was for several months of work. It was paid to my company, which has significant expenses."
He subsequently told the BBC he gets a varying amount from GB News as a contractor and does not get a fixed monthly sum.

Married MPs Esther McVey and Philip Davies have both also earned significant amounts for their work on GB News. According to the register of members' financial interests by February this year McVey had earned £129,183.08 while her husband had pocketed £62,233.13.
This is despite falling foul of Ofcom after the regulator ruled that an interview they conducted with Jeremy Hunt, the chancellor, before last year’s budget, “failed to represent a wide range of significant views”.
Reform UK MP for Ashfield, Lee Anderson's pay packet was made up of a salary plus a numer of one off payments. By February this year he had earmed £103,350.
This was comprised of one year of his £100,000 annual presenting salary, topped up by one-off payments for earlier shows, plus a £50-a-month payment the channel gives him for having the GB News logo on his X profile page.
