Jonathan Ross fans are in for a shock as they witness the renowned talk show host in an entirely new light.

Throughout his distinguished television career, Jonathan has rubbed shoulders with the creme de la creme of the entertainment industry.

Yet, in his latest TV venture, Jonathan Ross: Haunted Homecoming, the beloved presenter revisits his childhood haunts for a spine-chilling journey into the past, engaging with entities far removed from his usual Hollywood guests - the supernatural.

Known for his interest in horror and the macabre, Jonathan's return to his old East End neighbourhood takes a dark turn as he delves into its grim history and hunts for signs of paranormal activity, landing him in a real-life horror story.

Accompanied by psychic medium Ian Lawman and paranormal investigator Dr Kate Cherrell, Jonathan recounts a horrifying childhood experience in the basement of his Leytonstone family home before venturing into the nearby Epping Forest, where things take a disturbing twist in the dead of night, reports the Mirror.

The tension escalates at the infamous Hitchcock Hotel on Wanstead Flats, as an ominous presence infiltrates its most daunting room and they unearth spectral secrets of one of his former local pubs.

During a tense moment in the woods, the crew's concern is palpable as they fail to locate Jonathan. Dr Kate expresses her worry, saying: "I don't want to make things worse but I think we've lost Jonathan.

"I've lost Jonathan, he's just walked into the woods and hasn't come back."

Reflecting on the incident where he became separated from the group, Jonathan revealed: "They (the crew) got lost! . To be honest with you, I was quite sad when they found us again, I was happy trying to feel the vibe. I enjoyed being there."

He continued, sharing his feelings about leaving the area: "I remember leaving and I felt very calm. When you're looking for a connection, you do have to investigate some really truly tragic stories, normally events where people's lives have ended when they shouldn't have ended."

Jonathan also spoke of the allure such places hold for him: "So you do go in there with a certain amount of trepidation. But certainly, there is something that sort of draws you to those spots, where you do feel intrigued and fascinated by what went on and why it went on. It's a beautiful spot, in a very spooky way."
