Peter Andre shares heartfelt update on his mum's health after tough time
Peter Andre has shared a heartfelt update on his mother's health, confessing that it's been a challenging period.
The Mysterious Girl singer made an appearance on Good Morning Britain today, where he opened up to hosts Richard Madeley and Kate Garraway about his parents' health struggles.
He disclosed his plans to visit his family in Australia, including his ailing mother. Peter's parents, Savvas and Thea, reside in Australia, but Thea's health has been deteriorating over recent months. She has been diagnosed with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases and is currently living in a care home, reports the Mirror.
Peter confessed that it's "hard" to witness her declining health. While on Good Morning Britain, he revealed: "This Christmas, we're all together. I've got to go and see my mum. This is the most important thing so I'm trying to get that done before the tour starts. She's not great unfortunately."

"It's not the best time but then I think about all the people that have no parents, all the people that have lost people this time of year. Obviously, I lost my brother this time of year 12 years ago."
Despite the difficulties, Peter remains thankful for the long life his parents have shared together.
"It's tough for a lot of people and when I think about the age of Mum and Dad, I think how lucky are they to have got to that age. It doesn't make it easier but it's 70 years next year if mum makes it. Dad reckons it's three life sentences and no parole. Mum must be thinking that!" he divulged about his parents, who have enjoyed decades of companionship.

I'm a little unprepared with my shopping, but I'm sure it will all come together.
"Emily and I have a traditional Christmas at home with the kids we wake up, exchange presents, have a nice dinner, play board games, and watch classics like Home Alone. The kids are so excited, and we're really looking forward to Arabella's first Christmas. I love seeing their faces when they've had a visit from Santa!"
He also mentioned that his nephew will be joining them, adding: "We have my nephew coming to stay with us this Christmas, which is amazing. He's the same age as Princess, and this will be his first British Christmas. Christmas is so different in Australia. It's super hot over there at this time of year, so Christmas Day is always spent outside. I remember one year we cooked the turkey on Christmas Eve and put it in the fridge, then the next day we took it to the beach in a cooler with some drinks and had a cold Christmas dinner on the beach. I remember seeing Santa in budgie smugglers, so it's pretty, erm, different!"
