Eamonn Holmes annihilates 'pathetic' Keir Starmer in brutal eight-word GB News statement
Eamonn Holmes did not hold back of his feelings about floundering Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
He and Isabel Webster were discussing the rumours that wealthy science entrepreneur Elon Musk, who is now playing a part in Donald Trump's US government panel, had also donated to Nigel Farage's Reform UK party.
The question had been raised as to whether Labour could be ousted thanks to a huge cash injection for their rivals. However, talking on this morning's episode of GB News, Eamonn swiped decisively of "pathetic" Starmer: "Whether [Musk] gave Reform money or not, Keir Starmer would not be reelected."
The presenter witheringly added that there'd been a "disastrous" start to the government, which has been in power for less than five months, but is already seeing Starmer voted the worst leader in UK history. He described Labour as a "socialist government not doing socialist things", pointing to the winter fuel allowance scandal and the current "pension situation".

Politicians are pathetic in this country!" he declared. Eamonn continued: "No-one can put up a defence and say 'Honestly, we want to [fix] it, we're on your side, but this last lot has literally broken the bank and this is how bad things are.'"

"There's question marks over his character - hes like a Bond villain!" Eamonn exclaimed.
"Should Elon Musk be allowed to interfere with our politics? I don't think he should!"
His words come after Farage announced that he was in "ongoing negotiations" with Musk about a financial contribution, leaving him in "no doubt that he is right behind us".

The SpaceX entrepreneur had an hour-long meeting with Farage at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Monday, together with party treasurer Nick Candy.
The interaction seemed to have left Farage in high spirits, vowing: "We only have one more chance left to save the West [but] we can do great things together.”
Reports that Musk was poised to give a $100 million (£79 million) cash windfall to the party had previously been dismissed by Farage.
However, he commented: "[Musk] is a friend of mine and I have known him for 14 years – Kemi Badenoch has known him for 14 days!"
