Former Strictly Come Dancing star teases feature film debut with Hollywood heavyweight
Music legend Matt Goss has revealed he is set to star in his first feature film next year opposite Hollywood legend Stephen Dorff.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star was appearing on Sunday Brunch on Channel 4 when he unveiled his plans for the year ahead. Alongside plugging his new music he told hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer about his exciting big screen debut.
"I've got a film called Midas coming out. I've just signed on. With Stephen Dorff. That's gonna be exciting [as] that's my first proper movie." Explaining the plot he said: "It's like a British Bourne Identity I'm a henchman for MI5."
Matt's twin brother Luke is already an established Hollywood star having turned his hand to acting when they disbanded their chart topping 80s group Bros.
He has appeared in films such as Hellboy II: The Golden Army and Blade II which saw him star opposite Wesley Snipes. Ironically Stephen Dorff appeared in the first Blade movie.

In 2022 he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing partnered with pro dancer Nadiya Bychkova but they were eliminated in week four of the contest after facing Morning Live presenter Kym Marsh and her partner Graziano di Prima.
On learning the judges had chosen to save Kym an emotional Matt reflected on his time on the show. “It’s an extraordinary experience, I have been in America for 25 years...
“This lovely lady beside me, a world champion with all the patience. I am very honoured to have danced with you, and everyone who is still in, I love you guys, go smash it guys.”

Nadiya responded to his gushing words saying: “First I’m so grateful that I got to teach and dance with a music icon.
“But, more important than this, I got the privilege to get to know Matt, for who you really are. Not many people know you and you’re a beautiful soul, very kind human and a real gentleman.”
This caused Matt to break down in tears as he admitted to host Tess Daly he was an "emotional person". “It’s emotional, isn’t it? It’s an emotional journey. Are you okay, Matt?” Tess asked.
Wiping tears away, Matt replied: “I’m sorry I’m emotional, I’m an emotional person.
“I wish my mum was here and my sister was here but the British public have really made me feel really welcome so thank you for welcoming me back after 25 years.”
