Strictly fans in 'fix' uproar as they claim 2024 winner 'wasn't the best dancer'
Strictly Come Dancing has crowned its 2024 winner, but the result has left some fans feeling that the wrong couple took home the glitterball trophy.
Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell were declared the winners after 12 weeks of intense competition, with their waltz to You'll Never Walk Alone and couple's choice to Instant Karma impressing the judges.
However, many viewers felt that another couple was more deserving of the top spot.
While Chris's performances brought Shirley to tears, some fans argued that Tasha was the technically better dancer.
The other finalists, including JB Gill and Lauren Oakley, Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, and Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec, also delivered impressive performances, but some fans felt that the voting was influenced more by celebrity popularity than dancing ability.

"It's been clear from day one who would win, simply based on who they are, not how they dance."
Another fan shared a similar sentiment, adding: "Was there any point watching #Strictly final?
"I mean it was a guarantee that Chris was going to win the glitterball no matter if someone is better on the night tbh feel bit sorry for the rest of the celebs for even trying", reports the Daily Star.
Some fans thought Tasha and Alijaz deserved the trophy (Image: PA)Despite not being the best dancer, as pointed out by Anton Du Beke on the show, many viewers believed Chris had overcome the most challenges.
One viewer commented: "Chris is the weakest of the 4 finalists. But he is the most deserving winner."
Another chimed in: "Tasha and Sarah should have won, they were much more sleek on the dance floor. But Chris is still a worthy winner."

Chris has been dubbed this year's dark horse, having joined the series as the first visually-impaired contestant to ever take part. Since then, Chris has captured the hearts of the nation.
Under Dianne's careful guidance, he's blossomed into a dancing sensation.
